Carpet Tiles

Since we discovered one of our precious kitties had been "marking her territory" in our office, we've been procrastinating. Finally, the nasty carpet had to go. We removed the carpet and pad to find hardwood underneath (surprise!). We painted the walls a creamy yellow, cleaned the floor with bleach, and rolled out 2 coats of an oil-based primer onto the floor. (I just couldn't commit to sanding and refinishing a floor right now. Maybe someday!) I decided to gamble on these carpet tiles from homedepot.com and... not bad! They were super easy to install and we're happy with the results.

The plan is to get a new desk and some storage and maybe an elliptical trainer!
